Offspring Fling is part of the Show me the Games sales promotion this week, which is appropriately named Show me the Sales! There are a ton of amazing games on sale and you should not miss this chance! These sales are direct from the developer which is pretty dang cool.
Today is also Mothers Day! So as part of Show me the Sales, and to celebrate Mothers Day, Offspring Fling (a game that was originally made during a Mothers Day game jam) is now 50% off on the Humble Store.
Just use the friendly widget right there if you want to grab a copy of the game during the sale. All sales on the humble store also include a free Steam key to redeem to activate the game on Steam.

Just a quick post to say that the Steam version of Offspring Fling on Windows now supports achievements. I'll be adding support to the Mac version sometime down the line as well, and I'm still looking into getting the Linux version on Steam as well.

Hot of the presses from the fine folks at Stickermule! This is probably the only thing I'll be giving out at GDC this year. Only ordered 100 of them because I'm pretty bad at being social and handing out things like business cards and stickers and what not. If you want one just find me during GDC! They go really well on sketchbooks and laptops.

Hey! I really should be writing on my site more often than I am, but that's another topic to tackle all together. For now, I am happy to announce that Offspring Fling has been selected for the PAX10 Showcase!
The game will be on display during PAX Prime along with 9 other super awesome games, and I'll be there showing it off to the world. If I can just brag some more for the moment, I'd also like to note that this is the second time in a row that I've been a part of the PAX10. Last year Snapshot was selected for the showcase!
In other Offspring Fling news, the Steam Summer Sales have officially begun starting yesterday, and that means Offspring Fling is available for an amazingly low price! How low?! Well you'll have to find out for yourself!
It's been exciting times for Offspring Fling all around. Just last week, Offspring Fling was featured as the Daily Deal on Steam, and it was quite the wild ride. I was actually attending EVO during the time that the sale was going on, so it made things especially crazy.
I'm so incredibly happy with how Offspring Fling turned out in the end. It was a project where everything just felt right when I was making it, which doesn't really happen too often when making a game (at least for me.) I'm still aiming to write a little bit more about my thoughts and some of my process about making Offspring Fling, but strangely enough I have a pretty hard time with putting my thoughts about game making into words.
Anyway, Offspring Fling is in the PAX10, and totally on sale on Steam right now so you should totally check it out if you haven't yet. Later!

Hey everyone! Offspring Fling version 1.1 is finally here, a.k.a. the Mothers Day Update! What better way to celebrate mothers day weekend with a game all about throwing children around?
As I type this I've been awake for 30+ hours now, going crazy with stress from the Steam release, so I think I'll save a more formal post for later. For now. go tell all your friends to get Offspring Fling on Steam!

The past couple of days have just been a complete blur to me and I'm not really sure what exactly has happened between 11am on friday and now. I rolled out of bed that morning and saw twitter lighting up with "#WakeUpKylePulver" and so I quickly updated the Offspring Fling site to put the game out live.
The response has been overwhelmingly positive about the game! There's been a bunch of articles popping up all over about the game that I'm still going through, and some reviews are coming out that are giving the game pretty high marks! People are showing me screenshots of their progress through the game and I'm absolutely thrilled to see them all.
So now that the game is out, whats next? Well, I have some plans for an small update. Some stuff that I can talk about now, and some stuff that will be revealed later. I'm planning on updating the end of level screen a little bit to show some more information. Some people have requested to see how much time they shaved off of their previous best when they score a new best time. I'll also be saving more options from the options screen, such as the screen settings. I also want to make replay opening a little bit easier, so I'm going to try to see if I can make replays auto load from the operating system.
The next patch I'll also be trying to tackle native controller support. I've found some interesting leads on how to get this working and it might be easier than I thought. Along with that I'm going to attempt to do completely customizable keyboard control.
I'm also planning on releasing a short demo soon, so people that have been waiting for a demo to try it out before they buy it out will be seeing that soon.
